6 months and growing....

6 months... WOW... I can't believe it has already been half a year since Bella blessed our lives!!! We went to the doctor last week for her check up and she is weighing in at 17lbs (70th %) and 28 inches (100th %). I went into the appointment so proud of myself for not running to the doctor the first time my child came down with a minor illness (a cold) .... until the doc started to listen to her chest! We were then informed that Bella did not have a silly little cold but had bronchiolitis! I felt horrible!!! We were sent home with a nebulizer and ordered to administer breathing treatments every 4 hours. It has been a week now and Bella is still very gurgly when she breaths but hopefully we can clear it all up at our appointment on Monday. Needless to say, I learned my lesson!
We usually take a picture with Pooh bear each month to show how much she has grown in comparison, but Bella has become quite the picture hog!
Throwing bear out of the first pic...

... now second...

... third...

... fourth...

... until she finally got her way and got to shine solo in the picture! :)

Amidst all her toys, the remote is still the favorite!

Along with music class, we are now taking swimming lessons. At the first class I was a little worried because Bella didn't like the last time I took her into the tub with me... so I prepared myself for some crying but Bella loved it! She had a smile on her face the whole time and even allowed me to 'dip' her under the water without screaming.

Dear Tamara and Marc,

You have a beautiful family. Mine are five an two-and-a-half, and believe me, its hard to even remember when they were that small!

My name is Cherie, and I was a friend of Marc's brother Tom when he was in college. Marc will remember me, I think. Which brings me to why I'm writing: I have something which I would like to return to Tom. Could you please ask Marc if he has an email for Tom, or pass mine along to him? I appreciate this. Take care, cherie
